It seems that Hyundai is living a similar problem and is now facing a South Korean government investigation after about 1,000 complaints for such cases has been filed since 2006. Are the following reactions good in such a situation ?
- turn off the ignition (with key)
- disengage transmission (neutral)
- apply handbrake

Absolutely! Those are all actions we should think of doing when living such a situation.

Turn off the ignition will lock the stering wheel it’s not the best thing to do
